Jhanjra UG project Wins Safety Award

Jhanjra Underground Coal Mining Project has won the Occupational Health Safety and Security award at the Global Safety Summit held in Guwahati, Assam.

Jhanjra won the Gold category award in the Mining and Metallurgical sector for achieving outstanding safety performance in underground coal mining with special emphasis on the mechanization of mining processes.

The Hon'ble Governor of Assam, Jagdish Mukhi handed over the award to Rajnish Kumar Jain, Safety Head - UG Coal Mining, at a gala event.
