Highlights from Mr. Jim Umpleby’s Visit

It was a delight and an absolute honour, to have Mr Jim Umpleby, Chairman and CEO of Caterpillar Inc. among us.

He discussed the global economic and business landscape and how Caterpillar is helping its customers build new infrastructure and meet the energy, mobility and mineral demands of people across continents -all with an abiding commitment to sustainability.

It was heart-warming to learn about the continued and growing focus of Caterpillar on meeting the developmental needs of 1.4 billion Indians. Caterpillar not only remains a sterling example of ‘Make in India’ but also of ‘Design and Engineer in India for the world’ and ‘Sourcing from India’ for over five decades - silently helping build a new India.
